A beautiful specimen of calcite growing at the top of spiky quartz base and decorated with chalcopyrite and sphalerite from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very attractive arrangement of sparkling calcite clusters with yellow-cream color and very unusual habit. A contrasting addition is yellow chalcopyrite crystals. Some black sphalerite is seen too. In very good condition – some contacts at the outside edges.
