A gorgeous specimen of richly colored quartz var. amethyst with hematite inclusions from the famous Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. The amethyst crystals are perfect and razor sharp. They are transparent and clear with a rich purple color. Marvelous small spherical hematite inclusions with saturated red and black color grow densely inside. The luster is very strong and glassy - first grade. In very good condition – two small damages and micro nicks.
