Fabulous grass-green colored chromian vesuvianite crystals – the rarest and most desirable color from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The well shaped crystals have very saturated green color due to Chromium. The quality is very good – gemmy crystals with lustrous faces, which strongly reflect the light. Rare chromian vesuvianite from this great now closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts on the back side. On acrylic base.
Mesmerizing!
