Beautiful and rare colorless grossular garnet crystals to 6mm growing on spiky diopside sprays from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The colorless garnets are among the rarest in the world. The garnet crystals are gem with a superb luster. They have a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are scattered on white diopside needles with sparkling appearance. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In very good condition – some contacts towards the outside edges.
