A beautiful specimen of very rare silicate leifite from this great locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The mine produced some of the best specimens for the mineral. It displays colorless prismatic leifite crystals, forming a delicate and attractive radial spray. The crystals are lustrous and sparkling. Small brown crystals, probably siderite, are seen all around. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
