An aesthetic and rare, small combo specimen of epididymite over serandite from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The white hexagonal crystals of epididymite are very well shaped and sharp. They have a porcelain white color. The serandite crystal is well crystallized with a classic, rich salmon-pink color and good luster. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
