A beautiful and rare specimen of stolzite coated scheelite crystals nestled on a quartz cluster from Mundo Nuevo Mine, Peru. The specimen comes from the collection of Jean Des Rivieres, Quebec, Canada with a label. It displays razor sharp octahedral scheelite crystals to 13mm, completely covered by lemon-yellow-green stolzite. They grow on transparent and water clear quartz crystals. The quartz crystals are sharp, well shaped and glassy lustrous. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
