Beautiful specimen of high quality baryte crystals from Cerro Warihuyn, Peru. The specimen comes from the collection of Jean Des Rivieres, Quebec, Canada with a label. It displays one superb, dominant 36mm crystal making an excellent focal point at the top of the base, over smaller ones. The crystals have very sharp tabular shape, perfectly defined faces and edges. They are glassy lustrous, completely transparent and gemmy. The baryte has a magnificent rich and saturated amber color. It shows aesthetically all over 360 degree. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
