Marvelous specimen of bi-color vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They have from a purple color to apple-green areas. The crystals are gem, with a strong glassy luster and are well shaped. Some are doubly terminated. The vesuvianite is very fresh and sparkling. Some tabular, colorless diopside crystals are seen too. They are sharp, transparent and lustrous. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some contacts.
