Beautiful specimen of hubnerite and quartz from this classic Peruvian locality - Huayllapon Mine, Pasto Bueno District. The specimen comes from the collection of Jean Des Rivieres, Quebec, Canada with a label. The hubnerite crystal is a sharp and lustrous blade with black color. It grows on transparent and water clear quartz crystals. The quartz crystals are sharp, well shaped and glassy lustrous. One crystal grows on 90 degree atop bigger one. The hubnerite is well isolated and contrast nicely. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
