Very unusual and rare specimen of boleite crystals over paratacamite from the type locality Amelia Mine, Boleo District, Mexico. The specimen comes from the collection of Jean Des Rivieres, Quebec, Canada with a label. This is a classic Mexican rarity. It displays good cubic boleite crystals to 3mm with an indigo-blue color to royal-blue. They grow over a green paratacamite crust on yellow limonite base. The contrast is strong. In excellent condition.
