Splendid geode of sparkling aragonite crystals with kutnohorite from Levane, Tuscany, Italy. Kutnohorite is an uncommon member of the dolomite group. It displays two hemispheres covered with acicular needles of aragonite, forming beautiful sprays. They have a strong luster and they sparkle nicely. Above are scattered clusters of brown, botryoidal kutnohorite. It has velvet shimmering. In excellent condition.
Marvelous!
