Astonishing specimen of thomsonite and mesolite from a new find in Burhanpur District, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was found during a highway construction. Not many pieces were collected and most of them were damaged. It displays rich and vivid orange thomsonite hemispheres densely covered with mesolite needles. Mesolite forms radial sprays of delicate, spiky crystals. The orange thomsonite forms gorgeous phantoms like spheres which contrast strongly under the mesolite. It has an exquisite display. In very good condition – some contacts.
Tender beauty!
