Wonderful specimen of gem Garnet var. Andradite var. Demantoid from Malenco Valley, Italy. On the white Asbestos base sit Demantoid crystals to 4mm with sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are strongly lustrous, light reflective and gemmy. The color is pleasing apple-green and the crystals are sparkling. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
