Striking color for these Vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They have a marvelous color variation from purple to saturated honey-orange and rich fuchsia at the tips. Some crystals are doubly terminated. They are gemmy and glassy. The luster, the colors and the quality are excellent. Light Clinochlore rosettes are seen too. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. Some contacts.
Gorgeous!
