Splendid example of a tender cream-pink Rhodochrosite crystal, standing aesthetically on the top of Aegirine blades from this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays a sharp rhombohedral Rhodochrosite crystal with a pleasant color. The elongated black Aegirine crystals are well shaped. The Rhodochrosite is decorated with small prismatic Natrolite crystals, with beige color and a colorless plate crystal of Albite. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – some Aegirine damages. On acrylic base.
Pretty and rich!
