Killer specimen of gemmy Dioptase crystals from Pimbi hill, Mindouli, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. This specimen was mined more that 30 years ago by a geologist and stored. The crystals are strongly glassy lustrous with gorgeous dark emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly doubly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon-green nuances. The specimen is sculptural and exquisite. Better in person. In excellent condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
