Perfect crystal of Garnet var. Andradite var. Melanite from Kayes Region, Mali. One dominant 24mm crystal is decorated with smaller ones. The Melanites are black with sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and a strong luster. The specimen is complete all over. In very good condition – some natural imperfections and base part contacts.
