Superb twinned crystals of Zunyite from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays complete all over tetrahedral Zunyite crystals to 17mm. They show penetration twining. The crystals are sharp with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
