Outstanding and very rare colorless crystal of Zunyite from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is superb and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. The vast majority of the find has brick-red color due to inclusions, but this one is different. It is colorless without inclusions. It displays complete all over tetrahedral Zunyite crystal of 16mm. It is razor sharp with pretty beveled corners. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. In very good condition – one small nick at the bottom tip. On acrylic base.
