Gorgeous and very rare combo specimen of gem pink Grossular Garnets crystals associated with Wollastonite and Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. It comes from the renowned collection of Francesco Spertini, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are transparent, gem, with strong luster and marvelous pink color. They have rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. White hair like Wollastonite forms the base. Apple-green Diopside crystals with prismatic habit are seen too. It is a remarkable specimen from this closed mine. This combination was found just in one pocket decades ago and specimens of this type are very difficult to find. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.

Astonishing!
