Fabulous specimen of Baryte formed over green Malachite crust from Shangulowe Mine, Katanga Copper Crescent, Congo - Kinshasa. It displays sharp tabular Baryte crystals. They are colorless, translucent to transparent and strongly lustrous. Some of them have small green Malachite inclusions. The Malachite has a rich green color and it grows in a delicate crust. Cool example for this uncommon material. In excellent condition – some small outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
Astonishing!
