Killer specimen of rare tender pink colored Grossular Garnet crystals beautifully sparkling on a white Grossular base from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Garnet crystals are very glassy, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing pink color. They have razor sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit up to 5mm. The color is very attractive and combined with the excellent gemminess make it remarkable specimen from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
