Attractive bi-color Vesuvianite specimen from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals are gemmy with pleasing color variation from apple-green to purple. The crystals have glassy luster and they are well crystallized - fresh and sparkling.  It displays on both sides. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
