Superb quality connoisseur specimen from a unique find in Tantara Mine, Congo Kinshasa of Shattuckite pseudomorph after Dioptase, after Calcite. The secondary Copper silicate Shattuckite replaces Dioptase crystals replacing the first generation of pointy Calcite crystals. The Shattuckite has an intense and saturated dark blue color to superb rich royal blue areas. Small green Dioptase crystals and light blue Chrysocolla is seen too. The back is sawed. Some contacts. On acrylic base.
Killer double pseudomorph!
