Beautiful specimen of gem Hessonite Garnets decorated with Diopside crystals from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The Hessonite crystals are gem with orange-brown color up to 3mm. They have sharp crystallization with good luster and nicely reflect the light. Gemmy Diopside crystals to 7mm grow atop, giving an aesthetic finish. Some are doubly terminated. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
