Splendid specimen of Cuprite crystals with sharp octahedral shape on a Chrysocolla covered base from the famous Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga (Shaba), Congo - Kinshasa. The Cuprite crystals have a good geometry, metallic faces and a high luster. On a strong halogen back light they are translucent with rich bordo color. Light blue Chrysocolla covers the base, which gives a strong contrast. In excellent condition.
