Highly aesthetic specimen of gemmy Wardite crystals with Eosphorite and Siderite from the famous phosphate deposit of Rapid Creek, Yukon Territory, Canada. The Wardite crystals sit attractively at the top of Siderite covered base and they form an excellent focal point. The crystals to 10mm are razor sharp, glassy lustrous, very well formed with octahedral habit and colorless. The tips are gem. Brown-yellow Eosphorite micro crystals sparkle nicely above. The Siderite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed with rhombohedral habit and rich tobacco color. In very good condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
Fascinating!
