Beautiful combo specimen of Calcite, Dolomite, Chalcopyrite, Sphalerite and Quartz from this classic and closed mine - Cavnic Mine, Romania. It displays elegant and three dimensional Calcite radial sprays. The crystals have very sharp shape and perfectly defined multiple tips. They are colorless, translucent, strongly lustrous and sparkling. The Dolomite crystals are well shaped with orange-cream color. On the top are seen well isolated yellow Chalcopyrite crystals with good luster. Black Sphalerite crystals with strong luster form the base. Small Quartz crystals are seen too. This is very rich combination with a strong contrast. In excellent condition – some small nicks and contact.
