Attractive specimen of Baryte formed over green Malachite crust from Shangulowe Mine, Katanga Copper Crescent, Congo - Kinshasa. It displays sharp tabular Baryte crystals. They are colorless, translucent to transparent and strongly lustrous. Some of them have small green Malachite inclusions. The Malachite has rich green color and it grows in a delicate crust. Cool example for this uncommon material. In excellent condition – some small outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
Delightful!
