Wonderful specimen of gem Garnet var. gem Andradite var. Demantoide from Malenco Valley, Italy. On the white Asbestos base sit Demantoid crystals to 2.5mm with sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are strongly lustrous, light reflective and gemmy. The color is pleasing apple-green and the crystals are sparkling. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
