Top quality specimen of gem Baryte crystals, probably from famous finds in the 1990s in Meikle Mine, Nevada, USA. It displays a beautiful cluster of intergrowing crystals. The color of the Baryte is simply amazing – rich honey-yellow, very saturated and striking. The tabular Barytes crystals up to 44mm are razor sharp and well shaped, extremely lustrous, completely transparent and gem. The glassy faces reflect the light strongly. Some crystals are twinned with parallel truncated tips. It shows attractively from many angles. For references see the 1999 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 30, # 3. In excellent condition – some small imperfections.
Exceptional!
