Fabulous specimen of Dioptase crystals up to 16mm from Pimbi hill, Mindouli, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. This specimen was mined more that 30 years ago by a geologist and stored. The crystals are strongly glassy lustrous with gorgeous grass-green color and very sharp, perfectly terminated crystals. The quality is superb. The secondary Copper silicate Shattuckite has botryoidal habit and it forms the base. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
