Fantastic specimen of gem Garnet var. Grossular var. Chromian from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are transparent and gem up to 3mm. They have deep and saturated grass-green color due to Chromium. The Garnets are with sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. They sparkle nicely. Some small Diopside crystals are seen too. Fine Grossular from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition - some small contacts. On acrylic base.
