Marvelous specimen of Garnet var. Grossular var. Chromian from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are gem up to 2,5mm. They have deep and saturated grass-green color due to Chromium. The Garnets are with sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. The base is covered with apple-green Diopside. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
