Marvelous combo piece of rare Manganoneptunite and Serandite crystals decorating well formed tan core of Catapleiite pseudomorph after Sodalite with Aegirine and Albite from this great locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The Manganoneptunites are with rich dark red color, lustrous and up to 2mm. Lustrous salmon pink Serandite crystals grow all over. They are sharp. Black Aegirine needle crystals and colorless Albite give a contrast. It displays all over 360 degree. Fluorescent in green, red and yellow. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts and nicks. On acrylic base.
