Gorgeous unique specimen of porcelain white Grossular Garnet crystals associated with apple-green Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular Garnet crystals up to 5mm have very pure white color. They are completely opaque and porcelain, with strong luster, and razor sharp rhombic decahedral habit. Vivid green Diopside forms the core. Normally these are rare but the Diopside combo is even rarer. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In excellent condition. On acrylic base.

Fabulous!
