Beautiful specimen of gem Hessonite Garnets decorated with Diopside crystals from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The Hessonite crystals are gem with red-brown color up to 3mm. They have sharp crystallization with strong luster and nicely reflect the light. One dominant gemmy Diopside crystal grows atop making an aesthetic focal point. It is doubly terminated. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
