Exceptional Fluorite with colorful phantoms from this great and closed mine - Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Illinois, United States. The crystals are glassy lustrous and light reflective. They have from rich yellow core to very saturated purple at the top. The cubes are razor sharp and highly transparent. The real beauty in this specimen is the intense purple phantoms which have very sharp and geometrical shape. The colors intensity is amazing. The Fluorite has inclusions of small yellow Chalcopyrite crystals. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
