Rich specimen of gemmy Serandite crystals over Catapleiite pseudomorph after Sodalite, with Epididymite from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The Serandite cubic crystals are very well crystallized with classic rich salmon-pink color and good luster. They are gemmy. Tan Catapleiite pseudomorph after Sodalite forms the base. Moreover, the piece has contrast given by the association of white hexagonal crystal of Epididymite. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
