Gorgeous jewel of orange gem Grossular Garnet crystals attractively growing with green Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are up to 7mm, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasant bright color. They are extremely clear and limpid – pure orange water. They have perfect rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The elongated prismatic Diopsides crystals are well shaped with light apple-green color. The high quality of the minerals gives fascinating display on both sides. For references see 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small damages.
