Superb specimen of Hematite var. Iron Rose with a perfect shape from Fibbia, Switzerland. It is a classic rare black flower formed by parallel Hematite plates. The Iron Rose has an excellent quality, with sparkling faces which nicely reflects the light. It has very three dimensional hexagonal, sharp shape. Above is seen epitaxial overgrowth of small reddish Rutile crystals. It displays beautifully on both sides. In excellent condition – some small damages on the back side. On acrylic base.
