Sparkling specimen of Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality of Saranovskii Mine, Russia. It displays Uvarovite crystals to 2mm attractively surrounding white Calcite. The Uvarovite has deep intense grass-green color and sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The crystals are very lustrous and sparkling, and they contrast strongly around the white core.
