Outstanding specimen of skeletal Galena from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very attractive and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop another forming amazing terraced structure. The faces are matt lustrous. The Galena cubes are with parallel truncated corners and some crystals are twinned. Black tetrahedral Sphalerite crystals grow on the base formed by small Quartz crystals. Small Pyrite crystals are seen too. In superb condition.
