Outstanding quality gemmy Lazulite crystals from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Actually this specimen comes from a new locality in Rapid Creek area – Mt Seafoam. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring up to 11mm. They have gemmy areas with marvelous blue-green color variations. The crystals sit very aesthetically on a small base. They are complete all over. In excellent condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
