Gorgeous and very rare combo specimen of pink colored Grossular Garnets to 1mm decorated with Prehnite from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are transparent, gem quality with strong luster and pleasing tender pink color. They sparkle strongly. Sharp prismatic Prehnite crystals up to 13mm grow above. They are colorless, from translucent to transparent with strong glassy luster. Rare combination from this great closed now mine. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – one small contact at the lower part. On acrylic base.
