Striking and rare specimen of iridescent Chalcopyrite completely covering elongated Chalcocite and Djurleite from Tongshankou, Hubei Province, China. The specimen has beautiful dendritic crystal growth with delicate arborescent shape. One prismatic 22mm crystal forms the stem. The Chalcopyrite has glittering purple, blue and green variations which gives very colorful display. The colors are rich and saturated with very strong electric nuances. Complete all over. For references see the 2014 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 1.
