Nice twinned crystals of Zunyite from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays one dominant complete all over tetrahedral Zunyite crystals of 10mm. It shows penetration twining by one smaller crystal. They are well shaped with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. Small sparkling black Hematite crystals are seen all over. In very good condition – one small nick. On acrylic base.

Marvelous Zunyite!
