Gorgous bi-color Corundum var. Ruby crystal on a pegmatite base with black Muscovite from Zazafotsy Quarry, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar. The crystal is 14mm and it has a rich color variation from raspberry-purple to purple. It is a well shaped hexagonal crystal. The luster is good and the crystal is slightly gemmy. It is complete all over. In very good condition – some small contact. On acrylic base.
