Rich specimen of Epididymite, Serandite, Aegirine, Albite, Catapleiite pseudomorph after Sodalite and Manganoneptunite from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The six minerals intergrow together. The white hexagonal crystals of Epididymite are very well shaped and sharp. They have porcelain white color. Black Aegirines blades with good luster and colorless Albite plate are seen too. Serandite cubic crystals with classic rich salmon-pink color and good luster dive a good contrast. Tan Catapleiite pseudomorph after Sodalite forms the base. Some small Manganoneptunite crystals are seen too. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.

Fabulous!
